50 minute train from Amsterdam Centraal to Den Haag, running every 15 mins with flexible open tickets.
One of the highlights of the Netherlands, this area is full of wooden windmills and museums as well as a mini theme park. Try gin tasting, pancake eating and boat tours in and around the waterways. 391 bus from Amsterdam Centraal.
This area has the largest collection of working 18th century windmills in Netherlands and plenty of opportunities for quaint boat and bike rides.
