FAQs

Where should I fly in and out of?

It will be most convenient for you to fly into Málaga and fly out of Santiago de Compostela. You can even add nights of pre-trip or post-trip accommodation; please contact our Premium Group Tours Team at grouptours@euroventure.com for more information on extending your trip with us.

What time does the tour start?

The group will meet for the first time at the hotel in Málaga at 15:00 (3PM) on the first day, which is also when check-in starts. If you do arrive earlier than this, you can always leave your luggage at reception for the day. You can even add one night of pre-trip accommodation.

What time does the tour end?

There will be no planned activities on the departure day, so you can leave at any time. Please note that breakfast is included at each hotel, so we would advise leaving enough time to take advantage of this on the final morning.

Who else will be on my tour?

Our tours are very welcoming environments and open to anyone aged 18+, however with our Premium Group Tours we anticipate that travellers will mostly be over 50, either travelling alone or as couples. There will be 6 – 20 people on the tour, with average numbers around 10 – 12 people.

Will the itinerary change?

We occasionally have to alter the itinerary for operational reasons, however should this occur we will notify all travellers at the earliest possible instance, and we will endeavour to find suitable and equally enjoyable alternatives.

I have dietary requirements - can you cater for this?

We should be able to cater for most dietary requirements; we just ask that you please let us know in advance and preferably at the time of booking. Please do check with us beforehand if you need any advice or guidance on travelling with specific dietary requirements.

Do I need to take part in every activity?

We have carefully chosen a wide range of optional activities that come together to create a memorable 2-week experience. We would encourage you to book any activities that interest you, but these are all optional, and you are free to take as much time to explore by yourselves as you wish.

What are the hotels like?

All of our Premium Group Tours stay in carefully selected 4-star boutique hotels that are comfortable and full of character. We know that staying in a central location in each city is important to our customers, so all hotels are centrally located and only a short walking distance, or short journey on public transport, away from the train stations. Each room will have an ensuite bathroom and breakfast is included.

How do the room allocations work?

Solo travellers will either be allocated same-sex shared rooms with fellow travellers, or you can opt to upgrade to a private room.

If you are travelling as a couple or group, you will be assigned twin or double rooms, depending on your preference.

What are the trains like?

The route has been carefully created to ensure that we mainly use direct trains and we also include all available seat reservations, making travel as easy and comfortable as possible.

When will I meet the group?

On the first day of the tour, there will be an introductory meeting at the hotel in Málaga, where you will have the opportunity to meet your fellow guests and Tour Leader. Later that evening, there will be the included Wine and Tapas Tour, which we hope will be a sociable and enjoyable start to the week.

For the second half of the tour, there will be a further introductory meeting to introduce you to the new guests, before an included Wine and Tapas Tour of Madrid.

Will I have free time?

Yes, there will be plenty of opportunity for free time to explore away from the group. Each traveller will be able to customise their itinerary with the addition of any or all of our optional activities, allowing for an entirely personalised experience.

Are airport transfers included?

We do not include airport transfers within our Premium Group Tour packages, however we would be more than happy to offer guidance and directions for your arrival and departure. Please do get in touch via the enquiry form above for more information.
