Europe Grand Tour

You’ll make your way to the Novotel London West to check-in and drop your bags off before you get to exploring the English capital.  You’ll meet your host and get to select from a range of optional activities to keep you busy during your stay here – if you don’t already have your own plans.

On day three, start your day off with a hearty breakfast before your Tour Director helps you board the Eurostar to Brussels, before swapping over to your luxury motorcoach to continue your journey to the Amsterdam area.

Your morning in Amsterdam is a busy one as we take to the water for the best way to explore the city with a canal cruise, you’ll then have the chance to stop at a diamond center to watch how precious stones are cut and polished. Wiesbaden awaits you that afternoon!

Fill up on a continental-style breakfast and then sit back onboard your coach and admire the picturesque scenery as you drive through the Rhineland and follow the Rhine river down into Germany’s oldest university town, Heidelberg, before continuing down to Switzerland – keep those cameras at the ready!

Nestled within the Alps, you’ll notice straightaway that Lucerne will have a special ambience. Clear mountain waters of the Reuss River, surrounding lakes and no shortage of amazing activities to experience here all make up part of the reason why this will be one of your favourite stops on the tour. They’ll be the chance to browse authentic Swiss watches for the shoppers among you, and for the adventurous travellers – a cable-car to the summit of Mount Stanserhorn perhaps will be a better fit!

The drive to Verona will undoubtedly be one of the best of your journey, so now’s not the time for napping! Verona will be a change of pace as you explore the medieval setting of Romeo and Juliet.

Rest up at the Poppi hotel in Venice that evening, before getting lost in the mazy canals of the city the next morning. Your Tour Director will give you a quick orientation, starting at St. Mark’s Square – from there, the time is yours to spend how you wish. Do however head away from the popular square and look for the quieter and more authentic sides to Venice – they’ll not only be a lot more pleasant, but you’ll be supporting local businesses and real Venetians.

En route to Rome is a quick pitstop in medieval Assisi – where St. Francis was born, and visit the world famous St. Francis Basilicas. From there it’s onwards to the ‘Eternal City’. You’ll start with an introduction to Rome in St. Peter’s Square and visit some of the city’s most famous landmarks – including an optional visit to the Vatican City and the museums there.

On your final day and after breakfast, Pompeii is your next destination to see the remains of the city after the Vesuvius eruption in 79AD.

Your hotel in Sorrento is the perfect place to relax for the evening a get a good nights rest: surrounded by the Sorrento Peninsula, a range of citrus groves and overlooking the bay of Naples with stunning views of the islands of Capri and Ischia. If you’ve spent the evening longingly looking out to Capri, then you’re in luck – as that’s exactly where you’ll spend the next day here. Mazy streets, charming boutiques and cozy retaurants await.

Steeped in a rich, lavish history, Florence will keep you engrossed with it’s magnificent buildings and art culture. The more you look into something, the more detailed you’ll find it is – and you’ll get a sample of what the city has to offer on arrival, with a walking tour from an expert local guide.

Make the most of your time here – and the exquisite gelato – before heading off to Pisa to see the famous leaning tower and then onwards  to the Côte d’Azur.

Admire the lovely scenary on your drive up to France and through Genoa before a quick stop off to visit a typical perfume workshop and later reach the shores of the French Riviera. You’ll be staying in the Ibis Styles Nice Vieux Port and the rest of the day is yours to spend how you please.

The place to be for wintersports enthusiasts and certainly a change of scenary from your last destination. Enjoy the postcard-like surroundings and a group dinner that evening before we visit some of the world’s finest vineyards the following morning in Beaune.

Luxury coach to Paris

Last but not least – Paris. For some this will be the main attraction of the tour and it’s easy to see why so many people dream of visiting the French capital one day. Something for absolutely everyone and of course some of the world’s most famous landmarks – you’ll visit some of these on your included walking tour. Leave a bit of time at the end of your day to join the optional farewell dinner as you reminisce about the wonderful memories you’ve made on the trip.
