The luxury, vintage train is a masterpiece of Belle Époque design, guiding you around France to encounter the past and forgotten periods, illuminating the windows of history.

Through the windows, the landscape slowly unfolds like a painting. Comfortably settled in your cabin, let yourself be enthralled by the changing panoramas, the hues of vineyards, the waves of golden wheat, and the sparkling rivers. Itinerary

Day 1

MORNING: In the early morning, leave the city of Paris. The train sets off for Reims, the promise of an enchanting escapade. The scenery flies by, anticipating the discovery of the city of kings and its sublime cathedral.

AFTERNOON: After lunch, the journey continues to Beaune, the jewel of Burgundy. The region offers some of its most beautiful scenery and polychrome roofs. Then attend a private tour to discover  the unusual and secret sites of the famous Hospices.

ON SELECTED DATES: The journey begins with a stopover in the midst of the Champagne region’s vineyards. As you savor a taste of history at a Champagne House, the renowned Reims Cathedral, famous for hosting the most illustrious figures of the French royalty, stands majestically on the horizon, awaiting your visit.

Day 2

MORNING: The night guides you towards Provence, and the train arrives in Avignon. The Palais des Papes reveals its best-kept mysteries right up to the rooftops. A unique tasting of the region’s finest wines and produce awaits you.

AFTERNOON: Leave Avignon behind to get back on the train. Picturesque landscapes succeed one another as the sun sets, adorning the majestic city in a unique glow. The cobbled streets still echo with the footsteps of knights preparing for battle.

Day 3

MORNING: Arrive in Montauban, near the picturesque river Tarn. In front of you, brightly coloured cobbled streets stretch out. You now stroll through this brick city to the Place Nationale and its water mirror.

AFTERNOON: The iodised Atlantic air beckons and the Arcachon bay reveals its splendours. Fresh from the Dubourdieu workshops, climb aboard a pinnace for a timeless moment on the bay.

Day 4

MORNING: The vibrations of the train awaken you. Jewel of the Atlantic, La Rochelle proudly stands on the shores of the ocean. In the distance, the medieval towers rise with elegance, bearing witness to its rich maritime past. The paved streets come alive with a friendly atmosphere, where the aromas of seafood mingle with the sea breeze.

AFTERNOON: The end of the day lights up the Cher with golden reflections. On the horizon rises a limestone miracle adorned in the warm hues of sunset: Chenonceau,the Château des Dames. A moving private tour awaits.

Day 5

Le Grand Tour ends with a spectacular journey back in time at Puy du Fou. Over the course of a day, history blends with legend to come alive again until nightfall, when the grand spectacle of the night shimmers under the stars.

ON SELECTED DATES: From October 14, 2024, as dawn breaks, Brittany and
Normandy gently emerge to welcome you for a day to remember. Their mistshrouded
coasts dance with the ocean as the sun reveals the emerald glow of these
magical lands, awakening to the whispers of forgotten legends.

Day 6

MORNING: As you enjoy brunch on board, the landscapes gently roll by. In the pale light, the breeze sculpts the waves across the wheat fields. Your memories will be eternal for a long time to come.
